Casa Santi es un lugar para compartir la tranquilidad del pueblo de Santiago y comprobar q no se necesita de mucho para crear un lugar fresco y tranquilo, sólo se necesita consideración y consciencia.

Casa Santi is a place to share the relaxation of the town of Santiago and the prove that you don’t need a lot to build a cool and joyful place, all it takes is consciousness and thoughtfulness.

En sus estudios como diseñador Adrian Alamo aprendió q prefería diseño simple y funcional sobre el diseño de estatus y ornamental. “La meta es hacer un edificio funcional que sea un hermoso proceso en sí mismo, sin decoraciones extras. Me enfoqué en lineas simples, detalles sencillos. Tambien por ser un proyecto familiar tenía que ser creativo con el dinero. Fué un gran reto crear soluciones estéticas con un presupuesto ajustado. Al final cada elemento en el edificio y en el mobiliario es un elemento con mucha consideración en el diseño. Me parece que toda la construcción y los muebles tienen una vista de algo rústico contemporáneo que realmente me agrada.”

In his study as a designer Adrian Alamo learned that he prefers simple functional design over design that is really about status and esthetics. “The goal is to make a functional building, that is a beautiful process on its own, no other frills are necessary. I focused on simple lines, simple details. Also because it was family project we had to be creative with the money. It was a nice challenge to create something esthetically without spending that much money. In the end everything in the building and every piece of furniture is in a really thoughtful design. I think the whole building with the furniture has something contemporary rustic and creative looking, which I really like.”

Adrián prefiere las mesitas. “Fué muy bueno encontrar esas pequeñas tarimas, que en combinación con otra madera y el trabajo en herrería hacen un diseño divertido.”

Adrian likes the small tables the best. “It was really nice that we found this small pallets and the combinations with other wood and the metalwork makes it a playful design.”
